Many people in India are unable to understand that Modi's government is achieving some extraordinary things abroad and bringing huge investments and jobs to India.
Even though all foreign news agencies(including Pakistan news media) are praising Modi for his hard work, unfortunately, our own news agencies are unaware of the various good things happening to India under Modi's government. Even though they are aware of all these things, Indian news papers and other news medias are not interested in publishing a good thing happening to India as a good news can't create huge sensation what bad news usually does.
Most of the youngsters are still unaware of the achievements of Modi in last one year of his tenure:
1. He brought about 100 billion dollars of investment to India that our previous government couldn't do for several years.
2. Modi was able to convince the government of Mauritius, Maldives, Seychelles and Srilanka to build our 32 radar systems in their country to keep an eye on China's Airline and maritime activities in the Indian Ocean region.
3. Japan, Israel and Russia extended their support to resolve India's technological, Defenses, and Energy issues.
4. All most all neighborhood countries are now in favor of India (except Pak and China) - after Modi's continuous effort to improve India's foreign relations through his restless foreign visits.
5. North-East India region is now seeking new roads, Trains and Military services. The previous government was afraid of China over India's activities in that region.
6. Modi simplified the rules for companies through Make in India project - Google is building their new office in India that will generate another 10000+ jobs. Microsoft is also in the line.
7. Canada and Australia have agreed to supply Uranium to India after Modi's visit, that our previous government was not capable of doing.
8. Russia is supplying more petroleum to India in Indian Rupees.
9. Building Hydropower plants in Nepal and Bhutan, from which India gets a lion's share of energy supply.
10. A 10-year-old kid in our neighborhood wants to throw a piece of paper only in the dustbin as he shouts "Modi wants swachh Bharath"
And what gives me real pain is, when foreign news medias are praising Modi's hard work and his government's achievements, then what's wrong with us? What's wrong with our news agencies?
Every country is looking keenly towards India, why can't we look at our own achievements. Do we need another foreign body to recognize the hard work of an Indian just like how it happened with Kailash Satyavarthi??
